Matthew Simmons/WireImage for AOL MusicMy Chemical Romance has officially announced a U.S. reunion tour.
In typical MCR fashion, the beloved emo icons revealed the news in a cryptic short film, titled A summoning… In the 13-minute video, streaming now on YouTube, we follow a teenager who’s on the run from a mysterious trio of masked figures. Each door he opens leads to another room filled with iconography from a different My Chem album.
At the end of the film, the teen opens a door to an empty venue: the Forum in Los Angeles, which MCR will play on October 8.
The tour will kick off September 9 in Detroit, and will wrap up October 11 in Las Vegas. Along with way, MCR will hit Chicago’s Riot Fest, the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Atlanta’s Music Midtown and Sacramento’s Aftershock.

MCR announced their reunion last Halloween, six years after breaking up in 2013. They played their first return show last December in Los Angeles.
