300 Entertainment Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger is featured on a new remix of the viral TikTok hit “damn!”
The song was originally recorded by musician Jeris Johnson and producer Ricky Desktop. Apparently, Johnson kept getting comments that “damn!” reminded listeners of Nickelback, so he decided to reach out to Kroeger himself.
“I thought f*** it, let’s call up the legend Chad Kroeger himself and see if he’d be down,” Johnson says. “I was literally shocked when he said yes lol.”

Nickelback, meanwhile, released a cover of The Charlie Daniels Band‘s “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” over the summer. The group’s most recent album is 2017’s Feed the Machine.
