Gangsta Boo, former member of Three 6 Mafia has died. She was 43. According to TMZ, Three 6 Mafia member DJ Paul confirmed Gangsta Boo's death on IG with several artists sending condolences.
According to TMZ, sources say that the rapper's death appears to be drug related. Reports say that Gangsta Boo, born Lola Mitchell, was with her brother at a local concert in Memphis on New Year's Eve (December 31st) and that her brother started to overdose sometime in the night and was hospitalized.
The site reported that Gangsta Boo's brother "ended up being okay," but sources say that narcotics were found on her person and that a fentanyl-laced substance is believed to be at play. Cops have launched official investigation.
