Chelsea Handler To Host 2025 Critics Choice Awards, Ceremony To Air On E!

The Critics Choice Association revealed that its 2025 awards show will be broadcast live on E!, a departure from previous years on The CW. Scheduled for January 12, and streaming on Peacock the next day, the event will be hosted by Chelsea Handler. “Returning for the third year to host the Critics Choice Awards has been made even sweeter knowing it will now air on E!,” said Handler, who hosted several shows on the network. “I feel like I’m returning to my birthplace.” E! will also feature a red carpet special at 6 p.m., leading up to the ceremony at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, marking the 30th year of the CCA’s film and television awards.
