Donald Trump has announced that undocumented immigrants will be deported when he becomes president in 2025, so which industries will be impacted the most? Deporting these workers could shrink the country’s GDP by up to 6.8%, and the construction, hospitality, and agriculture industries would be the most affected. According to data from the American Immigration Council, over 1.5 million undocumented immigrants work in construction, 1 million work in hospitality, and 244,000 work in agriculture.
