Favorite Thanksgiving Desserts, By State

According to an Online-Casinos.com survey, pumpkin pie is the most popular Thanksgiving dessert in the country! This pie is a favorite in 38 states, including Alaska, Florida, Hawaii, New York, California, and West Virginia. Apple Pie comes in second place, and is the top choice for seven states: Indiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Nebraska, Rhode Island, Tennessee, and Vermont. Pecan Pie is a favorite in just five states: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, and Texas. As for side dishes, the survey found that mashed potatoes came out on top this year, followed by stuffing, which is known as dressing if it’s not cooked inside the Turkey itself.
