Study: Americans Will Spend $10.1 Billion On Unwanted Gifts

53% of Americans will receive a gift they don’t want this holiday season, resulting in $10.1 billion spent on unwanted presents this year. The Finder forecast predicts that 5% of Americans will receive at least five gifts they don’t want. 39% plan to regift these items, and 35% will keep them. 32% take advantage of exchange policies to get something more desirable.
