45% of Americans tell family and friends their New Year’s Resolutions, a survey of 2,000 adults found. 42% will enlist help from a spouse or partner, and 33% will even ask their kids for help. 26% turn to their best friend for support. Respondents say it takes four months to determine if their resolution was successful, with markers of success including being happier (36%) and healthier (31%). “The start of a new year is an opportunity to take inventory of your life, reset and give yourself a fresh start,” Cristina Watson of Dave’s Killer Bread said. “The key is making small, consistent changes. And don’t forget to celebrate your progress.” (swnsdigital)
