Post Malone To Release Nirvana Tribute Set On Vinyl For Record Store Day

Post Malone‘s celebrated Nirvana tribute set, which was live-streamed in April 2020 during the pandemic, will be officially released for the first time on Record Store Day 2025. The limited-edition vinyl pressing of the performance features Posty covering 14 Nirvana classics, including their hit singles  “Come As You Are,”  “Lithium,” and “Heart Shaped Box.” The songs were recorded at Malone’s home in Salt Lake City, and features a backing band consisting of Travis Barker on drums, Brian Lee on bass, and Nick Mac on guitar. 100% of the net proceeds from the sales of the record will be donated to MusiCares’ Addiction Recovery/Mental Health division. In addition to this special release, Post Malone has also been named 2025 Record Store Day Ambassador, which takes place on Saturday, April 12th. The next day, Post is set to headline the first weekend of Coachella, which officially kicks off his highly-anticipated Big Ass Stadium Tour. (Consequence of Sound)
