Younger Americans More Willing To Seek Help Than Older Generations

A new study reveals younger Americans view seeking assistance more positively than older generations. The poll of 2,000 U.S. adults found 71% of millennials and 66% of Gen Zers see asking for help as positive, compared to 54% of Gen Xers and 45% of baby boomers. Most Gen Zers (57%) and millennials (60%) believe they’re better at requesting support than previous generations. Despite this openness, 53% of Americans still fear judgment when seeking help, with Gen Z most likely to feel this concern at 64%. Financial stress affects nearly nine in 10 Americans (87%), with 40% feeling extremely or significantly stressed about money. Living paycheck-to-paycheck creates the biggest financial worry for 41% of respondents. (Story URL)
