Bob Riha, Jr./Getty ImagesOutKast has released a Zack de la Rocha remix of the hip-hop duo’s song “B.O.B (Bombs Over Baghdad).”
The Rage Against the Machine frontman put his spin on the track when it was originally appeared on OutKast’s 2000 album, Stankonia, but the remix was never made commercially available. It’s now being officially released as part of a 20th anniversary Stankonia reissue.
“Zack added an extra layer of grunge to a masterpiece,” OutKast’s Big Boi tells Rolling Stone of the remix.
“I’m a fan of the Rage sound so it was an honor to have them involved in a remix,” adds André 3000.
Meanwhile, you can also hear de la Rocha on the new Run the Jewels song “JU$T,” along with Pharrell Williams. All three acts came together to perform the song during RTJ’s Holy Calamavote TV special to encourage voting.
