ABCMiley Cyrus celebrated Super Bowl Sunday with hard-rocking rendition of Nine Inch Nails‘ “Head Like a Hole.”
The pop star put her spin on the Pretty Hate Machine single during her performance on a pre-game TikTok stream yesterday. The set also included guest appearances by Joan Jett and Billy Idol, both of whom guest on Cyrus’ new, rock-influenced album, Plastic Hearts.
Cyrus previously teased her “Head Like a Hole” cover last week with a callback to her Black Mirror character Ashley O, a fictional pop star who sang ironically cheery versions of Nine Inch Nails tracks.
Meanwhile, Cyrus has been working on a cover of the Metallica classic “Nothing Else Matters” featuring Elton John, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and famed classic cellist Yo-Yo Ma.
