Interscope RecordsWeezer has a new song included on the soundtrack for the new SpongeBob SquarePants movie, Sponge on the Run, which is out today.
The track is called “It’s Always Sunny in Bikini Bottom,” and is an appropriately bright and happy tune featuring a nifty guitar riff. You can download it now via digital outlets.
Other artists featured on the Sponge on the Run soundtrack include The Flaming Lips, who also wrote music for the SpongeBob Broadway musical, as well as Snoop Dogg, Kenny G, Swae Lee and Tyga. The film is streaming now via Paramount+.
Earlier this year, Weezer released a new album called OK Human. They’ll release another record, Van Weezer, on May 7.
