Idaho College Murders Docuseries, Scripted Drama Coming To Amazon

Amazon Prime Video is developing both a docuseries and a scripted series based on the 2022 murders of four University of Idaho students. The two projects will be based on an upcoming nonfiction book about the murders by James Patterson and Vicky Ward. Emmy winner Liz Garbus (I’ll Be Gone in the Dark, Yellowjackets) will co-direct the docuseries with Matthew Galkin (Murder in the Bayou, Kevorkian) — and Garbus will also direct the first episode of the scripted series. The murders occurred in November 2022, and the suspect, Bryan Kohberger, is scheduled to go on trial in June 2025, facing charges including first-degree murder and felony burglary. (Variety)
