46% of the American public believes the country is headed in the wrong direction when it comes to President Trump’s proposals to lower healthcare costs, a Gallup poll found. 48% of the 3,583 adults surveyed doubt Trump and Congress will enact policies to lower the costs of medications. 32%, however, are optimistic. “Despite the political divide, Americans experience the consequences of a high-priced healthcare system in similar ways,” the Gallup report reads.
