A recent study from the University of Bristol and Federal University of São Paulo found that aerobic exercise can be a powerful tool against Alzheimer’s. Researchers implemented an 8-week exercise program for older rats and found noticeable changes in their brains. Healthy neurons increased over twofold in exercising rats, and inflammation decreased by up to 68%. “This research highlights the potential for aerobic exercise to serve as a cornerstone in preventive strategies for Alzheimer’s,” Dr. Augusto Coppi said.
