Study: Beautiful People Are Paid More

An analysis of 43,533 business school graduates found that attractive people get better jobs with higher salaries. After 15 years, attractive MBA grads were 52.4% more likely to hold prestigious positions and earned up to $5,528 more than their plainer counterparts. This “attractiveness premium” seems to grow throughout one’s career. “This study shows how appearance shapes not just the start of a career, but its trajectory over decades,” Nikhil Malik said.
