If you looked up “dog” in the dictionary, you might find a picture of Mino.
That’s exactly what the guys said when Taylor from the Nashville Humane Association brought this gorgeous boy into the studio for Wet Nose Wednesday. And honestly? They’re not wrong.
Mino is about six months old, weighs in around 50 to 60 pounds, and has a white coat with brown and black markings that gives him a classic, old-school look. Think the RCA dog staring into the Victrola. Handsome. Sturdy. Perfect size for cuddling.
Here’s the thing about Mino though. He didn’t have the easiest start. He came from a rough situation, and you can tell from his ears that he didn’t always get the care he deserved. He’s still learning to trust people, and doorways can throw him off a little. But here’s what’s amazing: give him five minutes, and he becomes your best friend. Seriously. By the time the segment wrapped, he was sitting right in front of everyone soaking up ear scratches like a champ.
He also does great on a leash, rides well in the car, and absolutely blossoms around other dogs. Once he comes out of his shell, there’s no going back.
The hard part of Mino’s life is over. Now he just needs someone to make it sunshine and rainbows from here on out. Could that be you?
Check out Mino on the Woody and Jim Facebook page and TikTok, and then head over to the Nashville Humane Association to make it official.
