Randy Holmes/ABC via Getty ImagesMike Patton continues to contend for the title of “Busiest Person in Rock.”
The Faith No More frontman’s project, Tomahawk, created in collaboration with The Jesus Lizard guitarist Duane Denison, is recording new material.
“We’re actually working on a new Tomahawk album,” Denison tells Premier Guitar, adding that he’s written a Western-esque song for the band “tentatively” titled “High Noon.”
Tomahawk formed in 1999 and released four albums, the most recent of which being 2013’s Oddfellows.
A new Tomahawk record is another item on Patton’s increasingly full plate, along with his current Mr. Bungle reunion tour, a European Faith No More tour, and two Los Angeles stadium shows alongside System of a Down and Korn, and potential new music from Dead Cross.
