SuretoneDED is alive with new music.
The “Anti-Everything” rockers have dropped a “micro” EP titled Mannequin Eyes, featuring two new songs: lead single “A Mannequin Idol (Lullaby),” and “Eyes Sewn Shut.” You can download both now via digital outlets.
“The new music is about clarity through suffering and the frustration that comes with knowing that everyone can be better than they are — that I can be better than I am, because change starts with yourself,” says frontman Joe Cotela.
“We want people to strive and try and be conscious of the things they consume, the way they act, the things they share and celebrate, and the way they live their life,” he continues. “To understand how that all affects their soul and what their legacy is going to be.”
Mannequin Eyes follows DED’s 2017 debut album Mis-An-Thrope, which includes the band’s breakout song “Anti-Everything,” as well as the singles “Remember the Enemy” and “Hate Me.”
DED is scheduled to kick off a tour opening for In This Moment on March 24 in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
