Loma Vista RecordingsChester Bennington‘s pre-Linkin Park band Grey Daze has premiered a new track, “Soul Song,” accompanied by a video directed by the late singer’s son, Jaime.
“This music video is about my spiritual connection to the other side and my literal experiences with the elusive and, at times, incomprehensible presence of my father after death,” Jamie explains.
“‘Soul Song’ is about the many ways in which we come to enlightenment, into knowledge, and the many ways we fall away from it,” he adds. “This is my personal experience with that.”

“Soul Song” will appear on the upcoming Grey Daze record, Amends, due out June 26. The album consists of newly recorded music accompanying Chester’s original vocal takes.
