At NC State’s Wilson College of Textiles graduation last week, commencement speaker Anil Kochhar dropped a bombshell on 200 graduating students: he and his wife are paying off every single final-year student loan for the entire class.
Kochhar did it to honor his late father, who traveled from India to study at that very school back in 1946. The arena went silent for a second, then exploded. Diplomas AND a debt-free fresh start. There’s no better way to say the future is bright when you’re debt free.
